Love is in the aria, courtesy of the Lacock Scholars. Their concert on Sunday 15th February will feature love music from the Renaissance, bringing classical romance to St Valentine’s Day.
The Lacock Scholars are known to sing a cappella to a magnificent standard. The concert will feature two motets by Victoria of settings of the Song of Songs, as well as a set of erotic Italian madrigals known as the Canzon de baci (‘The Song of Kisses’). Valentine’s romance will be in abundance.
The concert will be taking place on Sunday 15th February at St Mark’s Church Regents Park. St Mark’s Square NW1 7TN. There will be an entry fee of £15 at the door.
