THE ONE AND ONLY JC OF L’ABSINTHE RESTAURANT!
JC – aka Jean-Christophe Slowik – opened L’Absinthe on the corner of Chalcot and Fitzroy Roads a decade ago and has been purveying French food and Gallic charm to the denizens of Primrose Hill and far beyond ever since.
He has a cheerful word for everyone – often in very jaunty French – and goes far out of his way to support neighbours and the wider community – and he supplies the best steak-frites in London.
So congratulations JC on being the very first iLPH Local Hero and on behalf of all who appreciate you: a huge thank you.
