I have a ritual before any event I’m dressing up for: I try on everything in my wardrobe, in an increasing panic, until I eventually run out of options, contents of my wardrobe now all over the floor, and go back to the first outfit I tried.
Luckily in Primrose Hill we have some excellent clothes shops for women and between them they have every eventuality covered. Dressing up, dressing down (but still dressing up, if you know what I mean), you can put together a gorgeous outfit for any occasion from our local boutiques. (Men aren’t so lucky I’m afraid: there isn’t a single clothes shop in Primrose Hill for men, apart from a selection of suits and shirts at Mary’s Living and Giving).
