The Primrose Hill Fair took place on Saturday 8 June and many felt it was the very best yet.
Organised by the Primrose Hill Community Association for as long as anyone can remember, it is part fundraiser, part celebration of our wonderful neighbourhood and all the folk who live and work here.
The stage was the focus and the acts were wonderful: Rock Choir, the Scratch Band, Pitta Patta Dancers, Catherine’s Ballet, and the incredible Paraiso samba dancers who opened and eventually closed the show. Local businesses gave generous prizes for the auction, which made £1200, and raffle which, of course, went down a storm.
Meanwhile, traditional stalls and games kept the fun going and Chalcot Square was a happy hubbub all afternoon.
Congratulations and thanks to all who made it such a brilliant success.
