SUNDAY ROAST AT THE QUEENS PUB

A Young’s Pub that is a favourite as people descend from The Hill; and with a cleverly installed mobile Camden Hells cart and I think margarita maker to service the descending. The oldest pub and with a secret spot that provides the best view of the hill with a drink in hand! iLPH took the plunge and sought out the Sunday Roast!

A nice Rose Prosecco got us started followed by an interesting slightly sparkling Vino Verde. A Slovenian Rose caught our eye and had a super colour and bouquet. Though pictured with the Prosecco and the rose the dogs stuck to the kindly provided water bowls!

Traditional beef roasts with the trimmings were the orders of the day together with a well thought out vegan option. All worked well with super service and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately too hot to enjoy outside with the stunning park view. Brownies and vegan ice cream were taken for dessert as the dogs lolled under the table.

And of course we had to finish with one of our favourite London pints, the Young’s special!
