iLPH loves a Sunday Brunch and Home Kitchen beckoned to us. Wonderful summer setting with one of the best terraces in the village, a SoHo style garden at the back and a huge open window that creates the feeling of inside out! With a social mission of training the homeless the restaurant is still trying to find its niche; great managers and a staff learning all the time.
A nice brunch menu and superb value cocktails. I tasted them all and not one disappointed. By the way, idling with one of the classic cocktails, or a coffee, on the front terrace, watching the world pour toward the hill, is a joy.
The menu was classic for a Sunday and in the brick enclosed garden felt rather like being in Manhattan. All things eggs, avocado, classic English and a crumble and cheese worked well. And a complimentary coffee thrown in.
All washed down with the classic Bloody Mary and a Bergamot Spritz our Sunday was well set!
