iLPH enjoys searching for the best mulled wines and the Engineer did not let us down!
One of Primrose Hill’s most iconic pubs, the Engineer is ready for Christmas, festively decorated with and warmly lit. When we popped in on our quest for the perfect mulled wine, the pub was very busy with different friendship groups of adults talking and laughing together and dogs being brought in on leads.
But how was the mulled wine? Warm and aromatic, just as you would hope! The fusion of orange and spice, with a delicate sweetness, blended beautifully with the rich red wine and was the perfect compliment to Christmas festivities in Primrose Hill.
It was lovely being in the Engineer Pub. It brought a strong sense of warmness from the cold; a beacon of the season as the cold creeps in. And as we have said before, What a food menu!
With the staff full of Christmas cheer a perfect place for the first mulled wine of the season!
