Harriet Kelsall is a highly successful and very inspiring businesswoman, presiding over a bespoke, fair-trade focussed jewellery business as well as being the first female chair of the National Association of Jewellers and a mentor to other creative business people. And now she has written a book, to be published September 19th, aimed at helping others turn creative talent into a successful business too.
And what a great book it is. Harriet writes as a capable, successful and very kind friend who knows how her readers can achieve success, guiding them along the path without bossiness – just well-structured, to the point, great advice.
Advice also comes from others through fascinating and very relevant case studies, chosen by Harriet to illustrate her points and provide inspiration. Harriet also provides some very practical and well thought -out exercises, helping the creative aspiring entrepreneur hone their business ideas and consider the practicalities that will move their business towards success.
This is a book to devour from start to finish – easy to do as it is accessibly-written and oh so fascinating – and then to dip into later for reference. I can imagine it becoming a great companion to many over time.
Harriet opened her shop in Primrose Hill this year and what a wonderful addition to Regent’s Park Road it has been.
