Founded in 2000, Jeremy Bass will soon be celebrating 25 years as Primrose Hill’s leading local estate agent. Jeremy established his company when he had a client looking to buy property in the area and he realised that there was a wonderful, empty corner double-aspect commercial premises in Chalcot Road. This was only being used as a storage space and its blinds were permanently down. Jeremy breathed life into this corner by opening his office right there. The distinctive blue and yellow colours for his logo come from a primrose that was designed for him by his late mother, Jill Bass.
Jeremy Bass’s unique selling point is his extensive knowledge of the residential sales market in Primrose Hill and the surrounding areas since they have been established. He has been an estate agent since 1983 and has acquired considerable experience during that time of how buyers and sellers like to progress a transaction to a successful outcome. This is right from the first moment of instruction through to giving the keys to the new owner on completion day. Jeremy Bass Estate Agents are the last and only remaining family business in Primrose Hill specialising in residential property sales.
Jeremy perceives a benefit of his company being open on Primrose Hill is that it is an area that people want to come and visit. He says examples are the world class London Zoo, stunning Regents Park, the buzz of Camden Market, and chilled dog-friendly cafes and patisseries in the village are great attractions. You can also walk from Primrose Hill to the West End. Parking is free here after 6pm and over the weekends, so it’s easy to visit the area by car. He pointed out that these benefits are what makes Primrose Hill so desirable to buy a property in and will remain so as it is a tiny island. The great thing about Jeremy is that he absolutely loves Primrose Hill and knows all the benefits of living here.
Jeremy bass gets involved with the local community by being on the committee of the Primrose Hill Community Association, and he remained an active member for 15 years, helping to raise funds for the summer fete each year in Chalcot Square.
