Sam’s Café, is a stylish and charming restaurant in the heart of Primrose Hill. The idea of Sam’s came from local resident Sam Frears, who had always loved the idea of a local diner where everyone knows everyone else, a bit like the PH version of Cheers! Lindsey Milligan and her husband Andrew O’Hagan decided to help him make this happen – and what a success it has been!
Sam’s offers food and drink throughout the day and into the evening and holds a popular and ever growing Supper Club on the last Tuesday of every month which claims responsibility for forging friendships among folk who turned up knowing nobody and left with new mates, a baby sitter and phone number for the local plumber!
You may have heard that Sam’s is popular with many celebrities such as Ben Stiller, Bob Dylan and Taylor Swift when they are off-duty and under the radar. However Sam couldn’t possibly comment…!
Everyone at Sam’s loves being part of Primrose Hill and they love to build on Primrose Hill’s community spirit. They have been host to manly local Birthdays, Weddings and special suppers for local residents.
As well as holding more music and literary based events, their future plans are to make Sam’s Cafe a third space in the lives of local residents. The restaurant’s dinner service is second to none, with a specialised wine menu and new cocktails to tantalise your pallet every evening.
